Carrying out a safe and secure weighing operation of the hazardous and inflammable chemicals in the petrochemical industry poses a big challenge to the material handlers. The priority is to weigh dangerous and explosive chemicals in a safe and secure manner, and avoid accidental explosion that can cause harm to people and property. Many such industries generate inflammable vapors and this increases the risk of ignition, resulting into a major accident.
Weight measurement operation is an essential part of the daily process and it considerably increases the risk of fire due to electrical spark or heat generated from the internal circuits of the floor scales, during the weighing operation.
