Where can I get prescription lenses into an old eye glass frame?
Cosco's is making me get a new frame if I want newer lenses.
Is it illegal or something to simply remove the messed up glasses lenses with new prescribed ones into a glasses frame? Cosco's won't do it if the frame is discontinued like mine.
Do you know where I can get that done? Thanks :]
I know of some-one that uses her old frame over and over because she likes it and doesn't want to change. She gets a new prescription every year too. You could ask at a Lenscrafters if you have one near you. Or try J.C.Penny's or Sears. If you do use your old frame and it breaks they may not be able to get another if it is discontinued. And then it would be very hard to fit those new lenses in another new frame. Sometimes they can't cut down the new lenses to get in that new frame. Then you have to start all over anyway. So you should think twice on this one. Could cost you more money in the long run!
