Fix Second Life Crashes
Second life is famous 3D virtual world developed by Linden Lab. However, players are facing Second Life crashing problem on load. Fortunately there is solution.
Below are outlined few steps to help you resolve Second Life crashing problem. Keep the sequence while performing action.
Ø First of all you have to check whether problem is due to updated drivers on your system. To fix this problem you have update your sound and video card drivers.
Ø Sometimes there is an improper setting done by the players that causes Second Life crashing problem during runtime. Few players choose to reinstall the game but that's not necessary, you can fix the issue by setting game to "default settings". To do this, follow the path
(C:Users<UserName>AppDataRoamingSecondLife) and now delete the folder user settings.
Ø Operating system stores files by the name of Cache on the drive for quick access. This way hard drive space is utilized. In the cache file object info, textures and inventory item names are stored. So, you have to clear these files.
Please follow the steps to clear cache from Second Life viewer 2.
1. Click on Me menu and go to Preferences.
2. Now click on Setup tab.
3. Click on Reset button beside Cache Location and after prompt restart Viewer.
4. Done
Ø If you are facing problem while clearing cache files on Windows platform then you can also remove those manually.
If you are using Windows XP then remove from C:Documents and
Settings<UserName>Application DataSecondLifecache
If your operating system is Windows 7 then follow this path.
C:Users<UserName>AppDataRoamingSecondLifebrowser_profileCache
In Windows Vista below is path
C:Users<UserName>AppDataRoamingSecondLifecache
For Linux : ~/.secondlife/cache
And on Mac: /Users/<UserName>/Library/Caches/SecondLife
Ø Registry cleanup is must if you are facing Second Life crashing problem then. Registry is database that contains highly sensitive information about all hardware and software settings. When data in registry misleads operating system then it creates game crashing issues. So, you have to find a reliable registry cleaner and PC optimizer software on your computer to fix internal registry issues, directX and system junk.

I don't know about the frat thing, but I do know the Cadets get some time on the weekends to go out. You can have a social life, I was talking to a cadet from Virginia Tech on New Years at a local bar. They do get to go out, but the cops do tend to keep a closer eye on them.

If you get in, don't be one of those ROTC's that hangs out outside of the Rivermill looking in the windows. I always feel bad for them. There are plenty of bars that allow under 21 in, the Rivermill just happens to be one that doesn't. Just a word of advice. : )
