Microscope Color Issues!!!?

I just got a microscope can someone tell me what the different colors of the object mean.....please help!!

you look through 2 lenses on a standard light microscope: the ocular (the one at the top) and the objective lens (one at the bottom, usually there are 3-4 you can switch to)

the colors usually represent the powers of magnification for each objective lens
you should be able to see the magnification printed on the side of each lens

ex. lens with blue ring = scan (10x)
lens with yellow ring = low (50x)
lens with red ring = high (100x)
