Make a Portable Projector Screen – For Under Ten Dollars!
Portable projector screens are desirable under some circumstances. You want them when you make presentations at different locations, and travel often between one place and another to do so. Even within a room or office, you may be better off with a portable projector screen if you are likely to shift the position of your projector often.
The one trouble about portable projector screens is that they are somewhat expensive – and prone to getting damaged more quickly than fixed screens. That's why you may like to learn about how to craft your own projector screen in just an hour – and at nearly no cost at all. Here's what you'll need to get started – a cloth sheet, a few eyelets, some screw-in hooks and PVC pipe (about 12 feet of it).
This is what you do with it. You choose the size of your portable projector screen. You may make it of any size – mine measures 6 feet wide by 7 feet in height. Cut the sheet to the appropriate size and sew hems on the top and all sides.
Make sure that you leave an extra few inches all around so that you can fold it over and stitch it leaving a seam. Then put on the eyelets. Place one on each corner of the top of your screen. Then insert the PVC pipe into the seam. This will help make your screen hang down flat and straight.
And when you've finished using it, you can easily roll it up and store it away. You simply need to fold the bottom of the screen, crease it, and pull out the PVC pipe. Then insert hooks in your ceiling where you intend to hang the screen and view pictures on it. You can leave additional hooks in other rooms too, because they are barely noticeable and you have more flexibility about where you watch movies or other images on your projector.
An inexpensive way to cut down costs even further is by using a bedsheet you already have for this screen. Of course, you could also buy a new one (they aren't very costly, especially in chain stores where you can find discounts or deals). You can cut the PVC pipe into two before sewing it into the hem if you'd like further flexibility to fold your portable projector screen in two before stowing it away after use.

Portable Hard Disk Drive Problem?
I have a 40 GB MADzD portable hard disk drive and it has been malfunctioning for a few days. Whenever I try to open My Computer to access the files in it, it hangs. Any advice?
ETA: I was advised to open it up and switch the hard disk (a small rectangular piece) with that of a functional portable hard disk drive (my sister's). Curiously enough, when I did that, the data retrieved was not mine but my sister's.
It may be trying to draw too much power, from your power supply; either get a larger power supply, or a powered USB hub.
