Is it possible for a suture to remain under my scar?
I had stitches removed from my wound, but at the time the wound was infected and wasn't looking good. A week later, I could see a little piece of blue plastic thread poking it's head out, but since I was keeping the wound covered and clean, I didn't mess with it.
Now 2 months later, the wound has completely healed over, but I still feel distinguishingly more pain in the exact spot that I saw that little blue filament. Is it possible that itis still there? If it is, is this plastic going to dissolve or will I have to have it removed?

Yes it is entirely possible. Your body will rejet it on its own, no intervention is needed. My mum had this and it took the stitch 2 years to come out (but it was a very deep stitch, not a surface stitch).
