Some women develop vaginal prolapsed, usually after menopause, childbirth or a hysterectomy. Others may develop bladder prolapse, rectal prolapse, uterine prolapse, small bowel prolapse. With so many treatment options available, women no longer need to worry about their health issues.

If she comes from a culture or religion where the alternative to hymenorrhapy is being beaten by her husband or even worse, I think it's the lesser of the two evils.
